Rock Werchter 2012 is held from Thursday 28 June to Sunday 1 July 1 in Werchter (Belgium). For four whole days the very best can be seen and heard on three stages in the Festival Park. The festival brings in acts from every musical genre. And it's much appreciated. Rock Werchter is an international hit. More than 80,000 festival goers from around the world find their way to Werchter every day of the festival. At the 2011 European Festival Awards, early January in Groningen Rock Werchter won the award for "Best European Festival Line-Up". In 2012, Rock Werchter is erecting a third stage, so has lots more to offer. Established artists, today's and yesterday's heroes and the big sensations take to the Main Stage as usual. The Pyramid Marquee hosts all flavours of electronic dance on Thursday and Friday. As in previous years, this stage is the place for upcoming talent, the more intimate performances and dance beats into the small hours on Saturday and Sunday. The new stage, The Barn, offers all kinds of music in the best possible conditions. It will be nice to see old friends, but just as nice to find the heroes of tomorrow.  A sort of in-festival concert hall!
